CHAPTER 10: Your 90-Day Beach Fit Challenge
The Action Plan to Get Started TODAY
The Reality Check
You've read the entire book. You understand the 8 pillars. You know what Beach Fit life looks like.
Now comes the moment of truth: Will you actually do it?
Or will this be another book you read, feel inspired by for 48 hours, and then forget about while you go back to your T-shirt life?
Let me be brutally honest with you:
What Happens If You Do Nothing
One year from now: You're still the same person. Same body (or worse). Same stress. Same paycheck. Same distractions. Same stuck life.
Five years from now: You look back with regret. "I could have been Beach Fit by now. I had the knowledge. I just didn't do it."
Ten years from now: You're bitter. Angry. Resentful. Watching other people live the life you wanted but never built. Still hiding behind your T-shirt. Still settling.
That's the cost of inaction.
What Happens If You Commit
90 days from now: You're noticeably different. Body stronger. Mind clearer. Habits installed. Momentum building. People asking "What changed?"
One year from now: You're Beach Fit in 4-5 pillars. Unrecognizable from where you started. Confidence through the roof. Living with intention. Taking your shirt off (literally and metaphorically).
Five years from now: You're Beach Fit in all 8 areas. Helping others get there. Living the life most people only dream about. Grateful you started when you did.
That's the reward of commitment.
The Choice
There are only two options:
Option 1: Hide forever. Keep your T-shirt on. Stay comfortable. Stay safe. Stay stuck. Live a life of quiet desperation.
Option 2: Go Beach Fit. Take the shirt off. Do the work. Build the pillars. Transform your life. Become the person you're capable of being.
Which will you choose?
If you're still reading, I know your answer. You're ready. Let's go.
The 90-Day Beach Fit Challenge
Here's your roadmap. Follow this exactly and 90 days from now, you'll be a different person.
Before You Start: Take Your "Before" Assessments
Do these TODAY (before anything else):
1. Beach Fit Score
Rate yourself 1-10 in each of the 8 pillars. Total score out of 80. Write it down.
2. Progress Photos
Take a shirt-off photo. Front, side, back. Yes, it's uncomfortable. Do it anyway. You'll thank yourself in 90 days.
3. Current State Audit (Your Numbers)
• Weight: _____
• Body fat %: _____
• Screen time average: _____
• Books read last 90 days: _____
• Net worth/Savings: $_____
• Deep relationships: _____
• Morning routine streak: _____ days
• Deep work hours per week: _____
4. Set Your Target Numbers
For EACH of the 8 pillars, pick ONE specific number you want to hit in 90 days. Write them down. Remember: Everything that gets measured gets better. You need a number to obsess over (in a good way).
5. Write Your "Why"
Why are you doing this? What's at stake? What do you want? Write 3-5 sentences. You'll need this when it gets hard.

What to Track (The Daily Beach Fit Scorecard)
The Metrics Philosophy: Everything That Gets Measured Gets Better
I wear a Whoop band. Every day. Not because I'm obsessed. But because everything that gets measured gets better.
Here's what I track:
- Sleep: Hours, quality, REM cycles
- Recovery: HRV, resting heart rate, strain
- Calories: Burned vs. consumed
- VO2 Max: Cardiovascular fitness
- Steps: Daily movement
Am I obsessed with these numbers? No.
Do I enjoy edging my personal KPIs? Absolutely.
It's more of a gauge. A way to check: How I feel internally vs. what the real data is telling me.
Sometimes I feel great, but my recovery score is low. That tells me to rest, even if I don't "feel" like I need it.
Sometimes I feel tired, but my recovery score is high. That tells me to push, because my body is ready even if my mind isn't.
Data removes guesswork. Data shows patterns. Data optimizes performance.
Find Your Number (For Each Beach Fit Aspect)
Here's the key: You need a specific number for each pillar.
Not vague goals like "get healthier" or "make more money." Specific numbers.
Body: What's your target weight? Body fat %? VO2 max? Bench press? 5K time?
Pick ONE number. Obsess over it (in a good way). Watch it get better.
Emotional: How many days per week journaling? Meditation minutes? Therapy sessions?
Pick ONE metric. Track it. Improve it.
Awareness: How many times per week reviewing your values? Living aligned days?
Track it. The number goes up when you focus on it.
Connection: How many deep conversations per week? Meaningful hangouts? Community engagements?
Measure it. It improves.
Habits: Morning routine streak? Days hitting all habits? System adherence %?
Track it obsessively. Watch it compound.
Financial: Savings balance? Monthly savings rate? Net worth? Passive income?
My number was $500K. What's yours?
Intelligence: Books read per month? Audio book hours? Skills learned?
My number is 100+ books per year. What's yours?
Time & Tech: Screen time? Deep work hours? Flow state sessions?
My number is 1.5 hours screen time, 4 hours deep work. What's yours?
The Process:
- Pick ONE number for each pillar
- Write it down (physical paper, visible daily)
- Track it daily/weekly (spreadsheet, app, journal)
- Get obsessed with improving it (in a healthy way)
- Watch it get closer and closer to your goal
When you have a number in mind, your brain locks onto it. Your actions align. Your habits optimize. The number gets better.
You must have this number in mind for each one of the Beach Fit aspects.
Use Tech to Optimize (Not to Distract)
I use a Whoop band. Not because I'm obsessed with data. But because tech used smart optimizes performance.
Whoop tracks:
- Sleep quality and duration
- Recovery (HRV, resting heart rate)
- Strain (workout intensity)
- Calories burned
- VO2 max trends
I'm not obsessed. But I enjoy edging my personal KPIs. It's a gauge. A checkpoint.
Sometimes I feel great, but Whoop says my recovery is low. I rest.
Sometimes I feel tired, but Whoop says my recovery is high. I push.
This is tech used smart. Not scrolling. Not consuming. Optimizing.
Other tech I use to optimize (not distract):
- Fitness trackers: Whoop, Apple Watch, Garmin (pick one, track metrics)
- Food tracking: MyFitnessPal (track protein, calories, macros)
- Financial tracking: Mint, Personal Capital (net worth, spending)
- Habit tracking: Notion, Todoist, or simple spreadsheet
- Time tracking: Screen time app, RescueTime (know where time goes)
- Learning tracking: Audible stats, Goodreads (books consumed)
The rule: If it helps you measure and improve, use it. If it distracts, delete it.
Tech is a tool. Use it to become Beach Fit, not to escape Beach Fit.

What to Expect (The Emotional Roller Coaster)
90 days isn't linear. Here's what you'll actually experience:
Days 1-7: The Honeymoon Phase
What you'll feel: Excitement. Motivation. Energy. "I've got this!"
What's actually happening: You're high on novelty. Your brain loves new things. Everything feels easy.
The danger: Overcommitting. Trying to do too much too soon. Burning out by Week 2.
What to do: Start small. Stick to the plan. Don't add extra. Build momentum slowly.
Days 8-21: The Resistance
What you'll feel: Doubt. Fatigue. "This is harder than I thought." "Maybe I'm not cut out for this."
What's actually happening: Novelty has worn off. Real work begins. Your old self is resisting change.
The danger: This is where 90% of people quit. They hit resistance and give up.
What to do: PUSH THROUGH. This is the most important phase. If you quit here, you'll never build anything. Lean on community. Revisit your "Why." Do the minimum. Just don't quit.
Days 22-40: The Breakthrough
What you'll feel: "Wait... I'm actually doing this!" Confidence. Progress. Results showing up.
What's actually happening: Habits are forming. You're getting stronger. People are noticing changes.
The danger: Getting cocky. Thinking you're "done." Slacking off.
What to do: Celebrate the win. Then keep going. You're not Beach Fit yet. Stay focused.
Days 41-60: The Momentum
What you'll feel: Ease. Flow. "This is getting easier." Habits feel automatic.
What's actually happening: Neural pathways are solidifying. Habits are becoming identity.
The danger: Coasting. Plateauing. Not pushing for the next level.
What to do: Level up. Increase intensity. Add complexity. This is when you go from good to great.
Days 61-90: The Transformation
What you'll feel: Pride. Confidence. "I'm actually Beach Fit now." Gratitude.
What's actually happening: You're a different person. Literally. Your brain, body, habits, and identity have changed.
The danger: Thinking you're "done." Stopping. Going back to old patterns.
What to do: Celebrate massively. Then commit to the next 90 days. Beach Fit is a lifestyle, not a finish line.
Progress Photos & Celebration Milestones
You need to celebrate progress. Here's how:
Photo Check-Ins
Day 1: "Before" photos (shirt off, front/side/back)
Day 30: Progress photos (compare to Day 1)
Day 60: Progress photos (momentum building)
Day 90: "After" photos (transformation complete)
The visual proof is powerful. You'll see changes you didn't notice day-to-day.
Celebration Milestones
Day 7: First week complete → Treat yourself (massage, nice meal, etc.)
Day 30: One month down → Share progress with community
Day 60: Two months → Buy yourself something you've wanted
Day 90: Challenge complete → MASSIVE celebration (trip, party, something big)
Rewards reinforce behavior. Celebrate your wins.
The Final Call
This isn't quick. And it's not easy.
90 days of consistent effort. Daily discipline. Pushing through resistance. Facing discomfort. Doing what you said you'd do even when you don't feel like it.
Most people won't do it. They'll read this book, feel inspired, and go back to their T-shirt life.
But you're not most people.
You're reading this right now because something inside you knows: You're capable of more.
You're tired of hiding. Tired of settling. Tired of watching other people live the life you want.
You're ready to take your shirt off. In all 8 areas. To show up fully. To be Beach Fit.
The T-Shirt Life vs. The Beach Fit Life
T-Shirt Life:
Hiding. Comfortable. Safe. Stuck. Regretting what could have been. Watching others win. Always wishing. Never becoming.
Beach Fit Life:
Confident. Powerful. Free. Growing. Proud of who you are. Taking risks. Building. Becoming. Living fully.
Which will you choose?

The person you'll be 90 days from now is watching you right now. Make them proud.
