PILLAR 3: Awareness & Alignment

Know Yourself, Trust the Universe, Stay in Flow

"Spiritually Beach Fit means you're in alignment. You know who you are. You trust where you're going. And you're moving with the universe, not against it. That's when magic happens."

Body Beach Fit = Physical confidence.
Emotional Beach Fit = Emotional stability.

Now we go deeper.

Spiritual Beach Fit = Inner knowing. Connection to something bigger than yourself. Living in alignment with your purpose.

This is the pillar most people skip. They work on their body, maybe touch their emotions, but ignore the spiritual piece entirely. And then they wonder why—even when everything looks good on the outside—they still feel empty inside.

Here's what I've learned: You can have the body, the money, the relationship, the success—but if you're not aligned with who you actually are and what you're actually here to do, none of it will feel fulfilling.

That's what this chapter is about. Getting aligned. Getting clear. Getting connected.

The Spiritual Shirt-Off Test

Can you spiritually take your shirt off?

Can you be authentic about what you believe? About what matters to you? About your connection (or lack thereof) to something greater?

Most people can't. They're either:

Being spiritually Beach Fit means you know what you believe, you trust your path, and you're not afraid to show it.

Not forcing it on others. Not preaching. Just living from a place of deep inner alignment.

That's confidence you can't fake.

My Spiritual Journey (From Lost to Aligned)

I'll be honest—I grew up always feeling connected to something greater than myself. Not religious necessarily, but spiritual. Like there was a force, an intelligence, a flow to life that I could tap into.

But then "real life" happened. College, career, cubicle. I lost that connection. I got so focused on survival, on impressing people, on climbing the ladder, that I forgot why I was climbing in the first place.

I was successful on paper. But spiritually? I was bankrupt.

The turning point came when I discovered something counterintuitive: I was failing because I kept reaching my goals.

Let me explain.

Every time I'd hit a goal—lose 15 pounds, hit a revenue target, finish a project—I'd celebrate. Then I'd relax. Then I'd slip back into default mode.

The weight came back. The business plateaued. The momentum died.

And then the cycle would repeat: Feel bad about myself → set new goal → work hard → achieve goal → celebrate → relax → fall back → feel bad again.

It was a yo-yo. And I was exhausted.

Then I realized: The problem wasn't that I was failing. The problem was that I was succeeding.

Reaching goals made me complacent. Arriving at the destination made me stop moving.

So I flipped the script: What if I set goals I'd never hit?

Not to torture myself. But to stay in the chase. To make the journey the point, not the destination.

What Awareness & Alignment Actually Mean

Let's break down these two concepts.

Awareness = Knowing Yourself Deeply

Awareness means:

Most people live on autopilot. They're running programs installed by parents, society, culture—but they've never questioned if those programs actually align with who they are.

Awareness is waking up. Questioning everything. And choosing consciously.

Alignment = Living According to That Awareness

Alignment means:

You can have awareness without alignment (you know what's right, but you don't do it). That's called cognitive dissonance, and it's painful.

But when you have both awareness AND alignment? That's when life flows. That's when synchronicities happen. That's when you stop forcing and start allowing.

That's spiritual Beach Fit.

The Whiteboard Story: My First Lesson in Alignment (March 2019)

Let me tell you about my whiteboard. Because this story changed everything.

The Manifesting Whiteboard That Worked (Until It Didn't)

March 2019. I was fresh out of recovery. Living in Costa Rica. Finally getting my life back together.

I had a huge whiteboard in my office—my entire wall. I'd write everything I wanted to manifest on that board. Specific. Detailed. With dates and dollar amounts.

And it worked.

Everything on that board would eventually show up in my life:

  • The house I wanted? Manifested.
  • The business revenue target? Hit it.
  • The relationships I wanted to heal? They healed.
  • The opportunities I was calling in? They appeared.

That whiteboard was my creation station. My direct line to the universe.

But there was a problem.

The Woman I Loved vs. The Whiteboard I Needed

I was dating a Costa Rican woman—a Tica. Beautiful. Hardworking. Honest. Kind.

She spoke Spanish. I spoke English. Our communication was... imperfect.

And she didn't understand my manifestation process.

Whenever we had guests coming over—her family, friends, anyone—she would erase my entire whiteboard.

Clean room. Professional appearance. That was important to her culture, her family, her sense of order.

I'd come back from a run and my entire vision would be gone.

The $500K financial goal I was manifesting? Erased.
The house I was calling in? Erased.
The business vision I was building? Erased.
My father's healing I was praying for? Erased.

All of it. Gone.

The Choice: Be Right or Be Happy

At first, I was furious.

I tried explaining: "Everything we have started on this board. The written word is powerful. This is how I manifest. Please don't erase it."

She'd nod. Say she understood.

Then guests would come. And she'd erase it again.

This happened three times.

By the third time, I had a choice to make:

  1. Fight about it. Make her wrong. Defend my process. Be "right."
  2. Manifest bigger. Find a solution where we both win. Be happy.

The old me—the one sitting in a cubicle, angry at life—would have chosen option 1.

But that's not alignment. That's force.

So instead, I asked myself: What is the universe teaching me here?

And the answer came immediately:

"Build something that can't be erased."

The Weekend That Changed Everything

That weekend—right after the third whiteboard erasure—I sat down with blank pieces of paper.

I didn't blame her. I didn't resent her. I thanked her.

Because she was forcing me to think bigger.

I thought: "What if I manifest so big that NO ONE can erase it?"

Not on a whiteboard. On life itself.

That's when I created the Idea Garden—one page for each area of my life:

  • Finances: Detailed vision of wealth flowing through me
  • Houses: Specific properties I wanted to manifest
  • Family: My father getting sober, relationships healing
  • Travel: Places I wanted to be pulled to
  • Business: Brilliant Directories vision
  • Books: This book. That I'm writing right now.
  • Service: The people I wanted to help in recovery
  • Health: My body, my fitness, my vitality

I wrote everything down. Dated each page. Put them in a folder.

And then I forgot about them.

I didn't look at them every day. I didn't obsess. I planted the seeds and trusted the process.

What Happened Next (The Miracle Fruit Moment)

April 2019: My father came to Costa Rica. First manifestation. I'd written "manifest health, wealth, abundance through me FOR my family." He came to get sober. He was the first.

June 2019: My sponsees started appearing. Second manifestation. The fish store was opening.

September 2019: The business vision clicked. Third manifestation. Everything aligned.

January 2021: Hit $3M net worth target. Fourth manifestation. I pulled out the Idea Garden page—exact date range I'd written 18 months prior.

Every. Single. Thing. On those pages manifested.

Not because I forced it. Because I planted the seeds and let the universe work.

The Relationship Cost (The Part Nobody Talks About)

Here's what I didn't tell you: That relationship didn't last.

Not because of the whiteboard. But because we were on different paths.

She wanted stability, tradition, family in Costa Rica. I wanted growth, expansion, evolution.

She wanted to erase the whiteboard and keep the house clean. I wanted to manifest so big it couldn't be contained.

Neither of us was wrong. We were just different.

And as I got more aligned with my truth—more Beach Fit spiritually—I had to let go of relationships that didn't align.

That hurt.

I loved her. She was kind, honest, hardworking—everything you'd want in a partner.

But love isn't always enough. Alignment matters more.

When you're on the path to becoming Beach Fit, some people can't come with you. Not because they're bad. Because they're on a different path.

And if you try to stay in misaligned relationships to avoid the pain of letting go, you'll sabotage your own growth.

So I made the hardest choice: I let her go. I honored what we had. And I kept walking my path.

Was it worth it?

Yes. Because the alternative—staying small to keep someone comfortable—would have killed me.

The Lesson: Manifest So Big They Can't Erase It

Here's what I learned from the whiteboard story:

  1. When life erases your vision, build a bigger one. Don't fight what's being taken away. Ask what you're being called to create.
  2. Choose happy over right. You can be right and miserable, or you can be flexible and aligned. I chose alignment.
  3. Some relationships aren't meant to last. And that's okay. Honor them for what they taught you, then keep growing.
  4. Build something that can't be erased. Not on a whiteboard. On your life.

That girlfriend? She gave me one of the greatest gifts: She forced me to think bigger.

And when I did—when I created the Idea Garden and started manifesting on a scale that couldn't be erased—everything changed.

To the woman who erased my whiteboard: Thank you. You taught me that the real vision isn't on a board. It's in my soul. And that can never be erased.

That's when I created my Idea Garden.

The Idea Garden: Where Manifestation Meets Alignment

Here's one of the most powerful practices you'll ever learn: Write down your ideals.

Not just your goals. Not just your to-do list. Your ideals—the specific, detailed vision of your perfect Beach Fit life across all 8 areas.

Think of it like planting a seed. You write it down—plant the seed—and let the power that exists work for you.

What power? The universe. God. Source. The creative intelligence that turns acorns into oak trees and embryos into humans. That power exists. And when you clearly define what you want through writing and release it with faith, that power goes to work on your behalf.

This isn't magic. This is how creation works.

The Idea Garden is simple: One piece of paper for each area of my life.

Each paper had my vision. My goals. My specific asks of the universe.

But here's the key: I wasn't forcing them. I was planting seeds.

Think about how a garden works. You plant a seed. You water it. You give it sunlight. You have faith that it's growing underground, even when you can't see it yet.

But you don't dig it up every day to check if it's growing. That would kill it.

Same with manifestation. You plant the idea. You water it with attention and energy. You trust the process. And you let the universe handle the timing.

Some seeds sprout fast. Some take time to root before they break through the soil. But the ones that take longer? Those have the deepest roots. Those last the longest.

The "Never Arrive" Philosophy

Here's the exact system I use now. My Idea Garden—but with unreachable goals.

Health/Fitness Example:
I weigh 160lbs. My goal? 155lbs.

But here's the thing: I'll never get there. And that's the point.

If I aim for 155lbs but maintain 160lbs, I stay in the chase. I keep training. I keep eating clean. I never "arrive" and get complacent.

The goal keeps me hungry. The chase keeps me Beach Fit.

If I aimed for 160lbs and hit it? I'd celebrate. Then I'd relax. Then I'd be 170lbs six months later wondering what happened.

But aiming for 155lbs while maintaining 160lbs? I'm always on the path. Never at the end of the journey.

My Full Idea Garden (Unreachable Goals):

Finances:
• Always aim $1M higher than current net worth
• Stay in growth mode, never "retirement" mindset

Health:
• 155lbs (maintain 160lbs—always chasing)
• Next level of fitness always ahead of current state

Business:
• Next evolution always in progress
• Never "done building"—always improving

Relationships:
• Deepest connection possible (no ceiling)
• Always becoming a better partner, friend, leader

Service:
• Impact more people than last year
• Never "enough"—there's always more to give

See the pattern? The goal isn't to arrive. The goal is to stay in motion.

This is what changed everything for me. Not reaching goals. Chasing them forever.

Why Reaching Goals Makes You Fat (And Broke, And Unhappy)

Let me break down the psychology of why hitting goals destroys Beach Fit:

The Goal-Achievement Cycle (The Trap)

Stage 1: Low Self-Esteem
You're out of shape, broke, or unhappy. You feel bad about yourself. This creates urgency.

Stage 2: Goal Setting
"I'm going to lose 20 pounds / make $100K / fix my relationship." The goal gives you hope and direction.

Stage 3: Hard Work
You're motivated. You're disciplined. You show up every day. You're making progress.

Stage 4: Achievement
You did it! You hit the goal! Time to celebrate!

Stage 5: Relaxation (The Killer)
"I earned this break. I can relax now. I deserve to enjoy my success."

Stage 6: Default Behavior Returns
You stop training. You start eating worse. You coast at work. Your old habits creep back in.

Stage 7: Back to Stage 1
Six months later, you've gained the weight back. The money's gone. The relationship is struggling again. And you're back to low self-esteem.

Repeat forever.

This is the yo-yo. And it's caused by achieving your goals.

The Solution: Goal-Attaining vs. Goal-Reaching

Here's the shift that changed everything for me:

Goal-Reaching: "I want to weigh 160lbs."
→ You hit 160lbs → You celebrate → You relax → You're 170lbs six months later

Goal-Attaining: "I'm aiming for 155lbs."
→ You maintain 160lbs → You're always in the chase → You never relax → You stay Beach Fit forever

See the difference?

Goal-reaching is about arriving. Goal-attaining is about staying in motion.

One leads to complacency. The other leads to sustained excellence.

My Beach Fit Is Based on Goal-Attaining, Not Goal-Reaching

I've been 160lbs for years. Not because I'm trying to "maintain 160lbs." But because I'm chasing 155lbs.

That 5-pound gap keeps me hungry. It keeps me training. It keeps me eating clean. It keeps me in the game.

If I ever hit 155lbs, I'll move the goal to 150lbs. Not because I need to weigh 150lbs. But because I need the chase.

This works for everything:

The moment you "arrive," you stop growing. And when you stop growing, you start dying.

The Fish Store Concept: Manifesting Beyond Yourself

Here's something most manifestation teachings get wrong: They focus on you.

"What do YOU want? Visualize YOUR dream car. Manifest YOUR wealth."

That works. To a point.

But the real magic happens when you manifest beyond yourself.

Here's my philosophy:

Give a man a fish, he eats today.
Teach a man to fish, he eats for life.

But I'm not just giving fish or teaching fishing. I'm building the fish store.

Because once the universe knows that people can get fish here—and learn to fish here—it will send more people. More opportunities. More abundance.

And if you build a self-sufficient, self-automated fish store? You create a system that serves people whether you're there or not.

That's the difference between selfish manifestation and Self Successful manifestation.

When you manifest for others (while including yourself), the universe conspires in your favor at a completely different level.

Force vs. Flow: The Ultimate Alignment Test

Here's how you know if you're in alignment:

When you're in FORCE (out of alignment):

When you're in FLOW (in alignment):

Pay attention to these signals. They're telling you if you're on the right path or not.

The Universe's GPS:

Think of alignment like GPS. When you're on the right path, it's smooth. Turn-by-turn directions. Everything flows.

But when you go off-route, it keeps rerouting. Obstacles. Delays. Frustration.

Most people ignore the GPS and keep forcing their way. "I WILL make this work!"

Spiritually Beach Fit people listen to the signals and adjust.

The Beach Fit Awareness & Alignment System

Alright, enough philosophy. Let's talk practical application.

Here are the five practices that will get you spiritually Beach Fit:

1. Daily Awareness Practice: Know Thyself

You can't align with who you are if you don't know who you are.

Morning Questions (5 minutes):

Evening Reflection (5 minutes):

Write it down. Two sentences each. Don't overthink.

2. The Miracle Mindset: Expect Magic

Most people are miracle-blind. Magic is happening all around them, but they don't notice because they're not looking for it.

Start tracking:

When you start paying attention, you'll see: The universe is ALWAYS conspiring in your favor.

You just have to have eyes to see it.

3. The Faucet Philosophy: Keep It Running

Here's a concept that changed my life: Everything I have, I still have. All I have is the present.

If I lose a watch or someone steals it, I still have it in memory. But more importantly, losing it cleared space for the watch I always wanted.

Your abundance isn't in one thing. It's in all things, all the time.

Think of abundance like a faucet. If you turn it off (hoard, cling, fear losing what you have), the flow stops. But if you keep it running (give, share, release), it never runs out.

Practical application:

The giver is the biggest receiver. Always.

4. Ask. Believe. Receive. Share.

This is my four-step manifestation formula.

ASK: Get specific. Write it down. Tell the universe exactly what you want.

BELIEVE: Act as if it's already done. Feel the gratitude now, not when it arrives.

RECEIVE: Stay open. Watch for signs. Take inspired action when the nudge comes.

SHARE: When it shows up, give it away. Keep the faucet running. This is the step most people skip, and it's why their abundance stops.

5. The Alignment Audit: Are You Living Your Truth?

Once per month, audit your life. Ask:

Values Alignment:
Are my daily actions reflecting what I say matters most?

Purpose Alignment:
Is my work serving my bigger mission, or am I just paying bills?

Relationship Alignment:
Do the people around me support my growth, or drain my energy?

Energy Alignment:
Am I spending time on what lights me up, or what I "should" do?

If you find misalignment, don't judge yourself. Just course-correct. That's what the GPS is for.

Unsubscribe From Your Old Belief System

Here's the hard truth: Most of what you believe isn't actually yours.

It was installed by:

Awareness means uncover, discover, discard.

Uncover: What beliefs are running your life?
Discover: Where did they come from?
Discard: Which ones are not actually yours?

This is uncomfortable. Because you might realize:

But here's the good news: You can rewrite the script. Starting now.

Impossible → I'm Possible

Here's a reframe that will change everything:

When you say "That's impossible," what you're really saying is: "I believe this is impossible."

It's not a fact. It's an opinion. It's a belief system.

But when you shift to "I'm possible"—meaning, "I am capable of making this possible"—the universe starts working through you.

You stop asking "Can this be done?" and start asking "How can I do this?"

And the moment you ask the right question, the answers that already exist start revealing themselves.

That's alignment.

Real-World Spiritual Beach Fit

David: From Atheist to Aligned

The Problem: David, 35, was a hardcore atheist. "I don't need spirituality. I believe in science and logic." But inside? He felt empty. No meaning. No purpose. Just going through the motions.

The Shift: After a health scare, David started questioning: "If I die tomorrow, did my life matter?" He couldn't answer.

What He Did:

  • Started daily journaling (awareness practice)
  • Explored different spiritual practices (meditation, breathwork, nature walks)
  • Defined his own values (not inherited, his actual truth)
  • Created his version of "higher power" (universe, nature, collective intelligence—not religion)
  • Built his Idea Garden (manifestation practice)

Results After 6 Months:
• Found his purpose (helping other men find meaning)
• Started a podcast (sharing his journey)
• Synchronicities everywhere (opportunities appearing constantly)
• Deep inner peace (no longer searching externally)
• Spiritually Beach Fit: In flow, aligned, purposeful

His Words: "I thought spirituality was woo-woo nonsense. Turns out I just needed to define it on my own terms. Now I'm more connected, more purposeful, and more alive than I've ever been. And I didn't have to join a religion to get there."

Maria: From Following to Leading

The Problem: Maria, 29, grew up in a strict religious household. She followed the rules, did what she was supposed to, but never felt connected. She was performing spirituality, not living it.

The Shift: After years of pretending, she finally admitted: "I don't believe this. I'm just going through the motions because I'm scared to disappoint my family."

What She Did:

  • Unsubscribed from inherited beliefs (kept what resonated, released the rest)
  • Explored her own spiritual path (meditation, energy work, nature connection)
  • Set boundaries with family (respectfully, but firmly)
  • Created her own Idea Garden (manifested on her terms)
  • Started living from inner alignment (not external approval)

Results After 1 Year:
• Quit corporate job, started coaching business
• Deepest spiritual connection of her life (on her terms)
• Family eventually came around (respected her authenticity)
• Manifestations coming fast (because she's aligned)
• Spiritually Beach Fit: Living her truth, not someone else's

Her Words: "I spent 29 years living someone else's spiritual path. The moment I got honest and built my own, everything clicked. I'm more spiritual now than I ever was when I was forcing it."

Daily Mantras: The Power of Autosuggestion

In the early 1900s, French psychologist Émile Coué discovered something powerful: What you repeat to yourself becomes your reality.

He created one of the most effective mantras ever written:

"Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better."

Simple. Powerful. True.

Coué taught that conscious autosuggestion—deliberately choosing what you tell yourself—can transform your health, your mindset, and your entire life.

And he was right.

Why Mantras Work

Your subconscious mind believes what you tell it repeatedly. It doesn't question. It doesn't judge. It accepts and executes.

When you say "I'm terrible with money," your subconscious says "Okay" and makes sure you're terrible with money.

When you say "I can never stick to a diet," your subconscious says "Okay" and sabotages every diet you try.

But when you say "Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better," your subconscious says "Okay" and starts finding ways to make you better.

You become what you repeatedly tell yourself.

Finding Your Personal Mantras

Coué's mantra is perfect as a foundation. But you should also create your own mantras—ones that speak to YOUR specific Beach Fit journey.

How to Create Your Daily Mantras:

Step 1: Identify Your Areas of Growth
Where do you want to improve? Body? Finances? Relationships? Confidence? Pick 3-5 areas.

Step 2: Write Positive, Present-Tense Statements
Not "I will be" or "I want to be." Say "I am."
Your subconscious responds to present tense as current reality.

Step 3: Make Them Personal and Powerful
Use words that resonate with YOU. Make them feel good when you say them.

Step 4: Keep Them Short and Memorable
You should be able to recite them from memory. If they're too long, you won't use them.

Step 5: Have Fun With Them!
This isn't serious corporate goal-setting. This is YOU talking to YOU. Make them playful, powerful, and authentic.

My Personal Daily Mantras

Here are some of the mantras I use daily:

"Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better."
(Émile Coué's classic—I say this every morning)

"I am Beach Fit in all 8 pillars."
(Reminds me of holistic integration)

"I am a child of God, therefore I do not inherit diseases."
(Health and divine connection)

"Money flows to me easily and abundantly."
(Financial abundance mindset)

"I am exactly where I need to be."
(Trust and alignment)

"My body is strong, my mind is sharp, my spirit is aligned."
(Body-mind-spirit integration)

"I attract exactly what I need when I need it."
(Trust in divine timing)

How to Use Your Mantras Daily

Morning Practice (5 minutes):

Throughout the Day:

Evening Practice (5 minutes):

Pro Tip: Write Them Down

Don't just think about your mantras. WRITE THEM DOWN.

Put them:

  • On your bathroom mirror (see them every morning)
  • On your phone lock screen (see them constantly)
  • In your car (say them during commute)
  • In your wallet (reminder of abundance)
  • In your journal (write them daily)

Make them impossible to ignore. Make them part of your environment.

Create Your Own Right Now

Don't wait. Right now, write down 3-5 personal mantras for your Beach Fit journey.

Examples to get you started:

Now create YOURS. Make them personal. Make them powerful. Have fun with them!

What you repeat, you become. Choose your words wisely.

Ernest Holmes: The Creative Mind and Success

In his transformative book Creative Mind and Success (page 84), Ernest Holmes—founder of the Science of Mind philosophy—teaches something that most people never understand:

"Never be dull. Always be cheerful and happy. Walk with your head up."

But here's what most people get wrong about this teaching: This isn't "fake it till you make it."

Holmes wasn't teaching you to pretend. He was teaching you to BE the ideal of who you will be tomorrow.

You must see this. Really see it.

Being the Ideal, Not Pretending to Be

There's a profound difference between faking confidence and embodying your future self:

Faking it till you make it: Pretending to be something you're not. Wearing a mask. Hoping no one notices you're insecure. This is exhausting and inauthentic.

Being the ideal: Stepping into the version of yourself that you're becoming. Walking as the person you already are in spirit, even if the physical manifestation hasn't caught up yet. This is intentional and authentic.

Ernest Holmes's Teaching (Page 84):

"Never be dull. Always be cheerful and happy. Walk with your head up."

Why? Because the way you carry yourself RIGHT NOW determines what you become.

If you walk with your head down, shoulders slouched, energy low—you're telling the universe: "I'm defeated. I'm small. I'm not worthy."

But if you walk with your head up, shoulders back, energy vibrant—even before you've "made it"—you're telling the universe: "I'm confident. I'm capable. I'm ready."

And the universe responds accordingly.

The Big Distinction: Believe It to See It

Here's the paradigm shift that changes everything:

Most people: "I have to SEE it to BELIEVE it."

They wait for the evidence. They wait for the money to show up before they believe they're abundant. They wait for the body transformation before they believe they're fit. They wait for success before they believe they're successful.

And they wait forever. Because the universe gives you what you believe, not what you want.

Beach Fit people: "I have to BELIEVE it to SEE it."

You believe you're Beach Fit BEFORE your body reflects it. You believe you're abundant BEFORE your bank account reflects it. You believe you're successful BEFORE the world recognizes it.

And THEN the physical reality catches up to match your belief.

The Science of It: Why Belief Creates Reality

This isn't just spiritual woo-woo. There's science here.

Your subconscious mind doesn't distinguish between what's "real" and what's vividly imagined. When you BELIEVE you're already Beach Fit—when you walk, talk, and act like the person you're becoming—your subconscious goes to work making it reality.

It guides your decisions. It influences your habits. It attracts opportunities. It shifts your energy.

Example:

Two people start working out.

Person A thinks: "I'm out of shape. I'm trying to get fit. Hopefully this works."
Person B thinks: "I AM Beach Fit. My body is catching up to who I already am."

Who do you think sticks with it? Who makes better food choices? Who shows up on hard days?

Person B. Every time.

Because they're not TRYING to become fit. They ARE fit. The gym is just where they express what's already true.

Walk With Your Head Up: The Practice

Ernest Holmes's instruction is practical, not just philosophical. Here's how to apply it:

The Daily Practice (Starting Right Now):

1. Never Be Dull
Bring energy to every interaction. Not fake enthusiasm. Real presence. Real engagement. Life is happening NOW. Don't sleepwalk through it.

2. Always Be Cheerful and Happy
This doesn't mean ignore your problems. It means choose your energy. You can face challenges with joy or with dread. The choice is yours. Choose joy.

3. Walk With Your Head Up
Literally. Right now. Wherever you are. Lift your head. Pull your shoulders back. Stand tall. This isn't pretending. This is embodying the truth of who you are.

4. See Yourself as Already Successful
Not "I hope to be" or "I'm working on becoming." Say "I AM." Present tense. I am Beach Fit. I am abundant. I am successful. I am worthy. Believe it NOW.

5. Act As If
How would the Beach Fit version of you walk? Talk? Decide? Spend money? Treat people? Do THAT. Now. Don't wait for permission. BE it.

Believe It to See It: Your New Operating System

From this moment forward, flip the script:

This is the Ernest Holmes method. This is the Beach Fit way.

You must believe it to see it.

Not fake it. Not pretend. BELIEVE it. EMBODY it. BE it.

The universe is waiting for you to claim who you already are.

Action Items: Start Today

Do These 7 Things Today:

1. Write Your 5 Personal Mantras
Right now. Don't overthink it. What do you want to become? Write 5 mantras in present tense. Include Émile Coué's mantra as your foundation.

2. Walk With Your Head Up
Right now. Stand up. Lift your head. Pull your shoulders back. Walk as the Beach Fit version of yourself. Not faking it—BEING it. Do this for the rest of today.

3. First Awareness Check-In
Right now: What do I actually want? What matters most to me? Am I in alignment or forcing? Write it down.

3. Start Your Idea Garden
Get 8 pieces of paper. Label each with one life area (Finances, Health, Relationships, Career, etc.). Write one specific vision for each. Don't overthink. Plant the seeds.

4. Notice One Synchronicity
Pay attention today. What meaningful coincidence happens? Write it down. Train your miracle mindset.

5. Practice the Faucet
Give away something you want more of. Money? Donate $20. Time? Help someone. Knowledge? Teach something. Keep it running.

6. Unsubscribe From One Belief
Name one belief you've been carrying that isn't actually yours. Where did it come from? Do you want to keep it? If not, release it.

7. Say Your Mantras Out Loud
Right now, in front of a mirror. Start with "Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better." Then say your 5 personal mantras. Feel them. Believe them. You ARE Beach Fit, not becoming—you ARE.

The Bottom Line

The Power of Falling in Love: The Youthinating Effect

Here's something most people don't talk about but everyone feels: The ability to fall in love keeps you young, alive, and in the game.

I'm not just talking about romantic love. I'm talking about that joyous expectancy that comes from being captivated by something—or someone—that makes you want to stay the course.

Whether you're:

That energy of expecting something wonderful keeps you moving forward. It keeps you working on yourself. It keeps you Beach Fit.

We Are Always in Motion

Think of life like a ship traveling at sea. You're never still. You're always moving, always navigating, always adjusting course.

And when you arrive at your destination? It's not about arriving.

It's about realizing: WE are the gift for others upon our arrival.

We're not going places to GET. We're going places to GIVE our best self.

That is the best gift we can give to anyone.

This is why the work matters. This is why Beach Fit in all 8 pillars matters.

Because you're not building yourself for yourself alone. You're becoming the version of you that others need. The version that inspires, uplifts, and shows what's possible.

Ayn Rand & Objectivism: You Are the Standard

Ayn Rand said: "The purpose of morality is to teach you, not to suffer and die, but to enjoy yourself and live."

And in her philosophy of Objectivism, she taught that rational self-interest is not selfish—it's essential. You must build yourself first before you can give to others.

Beach Fit embodies this principle.

When you work on yourself—your body, emotions, alignment, relationships, habits, finances, intelligence, and time—you're not being selfish. You're becoming valuable.

As Rand wrote: "To say 'I love you,' one must first know how to say the 'I.'"

You cannot give what you don't have. You cannot inspire health if you're unhealthy. You cannot teach confidence if you're insecure. You cannot lead others if you haven't first led yourself.

Working on yourself IS the gift.

When you arrive anywhere—a relationship, a business deal, a conversation, a new city—you bring your whole self. And if that self is Beach Fit in all 8 pillars?

You become the standard. You become the gift. You become what others aspire to.

That's not ego. That's responsibility.

The Joyous Expectancy Mindset

The secret to staying young at heart—regardless of your age—is maintaining joyous expectancy.

This means:

This isn't naive optimism. This is active participation in your life.

When you live with joyous expectancy, you:

And that energy? That's what keeps you Beach Fit for life.

Spiritual Beach Fit Summary

You can have everything—body, money, success—but if you're not aligned with who you are and what you're here to do, it won't fulfill you.

Spiritual Beach Fit means:

That's the invisible confidence. The unshakeable knowing. The energy people feel when they're around you.

That's what it means to spiritually take your shirt off.

"Spiritually Beach Fit means you're in alignment. You know who you are. You trust where you're going. And you're moving with the universe, not against it. That's when magic happens."
